The 2.0L variant is an inline 4-cylinder engine with a diameter and stroke of 86 mm, a 10.5:1 compression ratio, and a maximum power output of 144–151 PS (106–111 kW; 142-149 hp) at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque output of 19.1–19.8 kgm (138–143 lbft; 187–194 Nm) at 4,000–4,250 rpm. The engine’s dry weight is 134 kg, and the timing chain is used instead of a belt (295 lb).
The 2.0-liter Hyundai G4NH engine, better known for use in Kia Seltos, has been built at the company’s Korean plant since 2016. It is also found in numerous markets on the Elantra, Kona, Tucson, and Soul. This motor uses the Atkinson cycle and is part of a range of motors that are particularly inexpensive.
The G4NB, G4NA, G4NC, G4ND, G4NE, G4NH, G4NG, and G4NL engines are members of the Nu family.
