The lightest 200-hp four-stroke outboards on the market are Yamaha’s four-cylinder, four-stroke F200A and F200B. The F200 in-line 4 cylinder is 50 kg less than the F200 V6 model it replaces and weighs an industry-leading 221 kg, making it the preferred choice for boaters wishing to replace smaller horsepower or bigger V6 outboards for improved performance and efficiency. The F200A and Yamaha 200 hp, which have a slim-line cowl, are perfect for applications involving twin engines since they significantly lessen the overall weight on the transom.

The F200 outboard engine has the same amount of power as the previous F200 V6, but it comes in a more compact, lightweight, intelligent, and efficient package. The F200A has the same engine as the F200B, but Command Link Plus is included as standard equipment.

Boaters may actively monitor the operation of several outboards and the vital boat systems from a single screen thanks to Yamaha’s ground-breaking High-Definition Command Link Display (6Y9), which is completely compatible with Yamaha’s Digital Electronic Controls (DEC).
